Founded in 2014, Bawi Company Limited began its journey with a vision to build a diversified and sustainable business group that creates value for communities, partners, and future generations. After years of extensive planning, research, and groundwork that began in 2015, the company officially launched its first business operations on April 11, 2022, and received its official registration on June 15, 2022.
Our first ventures, Bawi Travel and Bawi Rice Sale, marked the commitment to delivering quality services and products. Based in Yangon, Bawi Travel commenced operations on July 7, 2022, in partnership with Myanmar Airways International and Myanmar National Airlines, offering a wide range of travel solutions, including international and domestic air ticketing, hotel reservations, visa assistance, and travel consultation services. Simultaneously, Bawi Rice Sale was established to support local farmers and consumers by supplying high-quality organic rice sourced from Myanmar farmers, along with premium Indian Basmati rice, and organic groundnut and sunflower oils.
As part of our commitment to education and youth development, we launched Bawi Education on July 15, 2023. Through strategic partnerships and the establishment of our Yangon office, Bawi Education has created pathways for students to access international educational opportunities, collaborating with prestigious institutions including Lakehead University in Canada, INTI University in Malaysia, Lincoln University College, Taylor’s University in Malaysia, and leading international schools in Malaysia.
Our mission is to empower children and young people with quality education and global opportunities, contributing to the development and prosperity of our nation. Continuing our international expansion, Bawi Company achieved a significant milestone on September 3, 2024, by becoming the first internationally registered BAWI company in Thailand. This expansion strengthens our ability to serve clients and partners across borders and marks an important step toward our global vision. In the years ahead, we aim to further expand our international presence through company registrations and business operations in India, China, and other strategic markets.

Hailing from Thlanrawn in Myanmar’s northwestern Chin State, Anthony’s trajectory from a small-town visionary to the leader of a multinational corporation is a powerful testament to the transformative power of ambition, disciplined education, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
A Foundation of Academic Rigor:
Anthony’s leadership philosophy is anchored in a lifetime of learning. He laid the academic groundwork for his career in Myanmar, where he earned two Bachelor’s degrees, cultivating a deep intellectual discipline. Driven by a desire for a global perspective, he pursued higher education abroad, successfully completing his Master’s degree in the Philippines in 2014. Refusing to plateau, Anthony is currently culminating his academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. in Transformational Leadership, a specialized discipline that directly informs his ability to inspire teams and drive systematically positive changes across his organizations.

Before launching his own enterprise, Anthony honed his executive acumen within the demanding environment of a world-class multinational. In 2017, he joined Bouygues Myanmar, the local subsidiary of the renowned French construction and infrastructure conglomerate. This phase was not merely a job; it was a rigorous apprenticeship in operational excellence.

Armed with a decade of high-level corporate experience and a profound understanding of international business standards, Anthony transitioned from corporate leadership to founding his own legacy. He officially established Bawi Company Limited in 2022.
His vision was decisively holistic: to build a company that elevates human experience by serving essential needs—the desire to explore (Bawi Travel), the need to learn and grow (Bawi Education), the requirement for pure sustenance (Bawi Rice Sale), and the facilitation of cross-border commerce (Bawi Trading). Anthony’s entrepreneurial spirit is fueled not by the pursuit of a single success, but by a passion for transforming industries and a deep-seated commitment to creating opportunities that empower communities both in Myanmar and across the international stage.
